What is a PNR Number?
PNR stands for Passenger Name Record. It's a unique 10-digit number assigned to every train ticket booked through Indian Railways. This number serves as your booking reference and contains all information about your journey.

After chart preparation, no more changes occur to seat allocations, and waitlist tickets that haven't confirmed are automatically cancelled. You can check if the chart is prepared by looking for "Chart Prepared" status in your PNR details.
Why is live train tracking sometimes unavailable?
Live train tracking depends on GPS data and station reporting from Indian Railways. Sometimes, tracking may be unavailable due to: trains running in areas with poor GPS coverage, technical issues with the railway's tracking system, or trains that haven't started their journey yet. We recommend checking back after some time. For the most accurate information, you can also check with railway station staff or call the railway enquiry number 139.
